One of the finest sitcoms, I Love Lucy premiered on October 15, 1951. This show was revolutionary for its own time. With Lucille Ball playing the lead character, along with her real-life Husband Desi, they were considered to be one of the first interracial couples on TV. The show was iconic for having used the multi-camera set-up for the first time and also was the first television series to be broadcasted as re-runs.
