Friends is one of the most popular television shows in history. From 1995 to 2004, America tuned into the hit sitcom to catch up on the lives of their favorite set of six friends – Monica, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Ross, and Phoebe. Friends is one of those shows that nearly everyone has watched at some point in their lives, but there are some true die-hard fans out there that can’t get enough of it – even ten years since the show has ended.

If you’re here, you’re probably a Friends superfan. From Ross’s “We were on a break!” to the invention of Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, Friends has gifted us with some of the most quotable, hilarious television moments in history. Who can forget all those crazy cast moments, like every time Phoebe would sing “Smelly Cat,” or when Ross and Rachel ran off and got married or the scene that will live in memes forever– when Monica walked in with the turkey on her head?

15. The One With Ross’s Wedding (Season 4, Episode 23+24)

Phoebe tries to help Rachel deal with her feelings for Ross as the rest of the gang head to London for Ross and Emily’s wedding, while someone else unexpectedly shows up to the wedding.

The wedding is off to a rocky start – both the flowers and the food aren’t turning out exactly as planned. But, when Ross and Emily discover that the church where they were supposed to get married has been prematurely demolished, Emily really freaks out. In an attempt to calm her down, Monica suggests to Emily that she and Ross postpone the wedding so that they can take their time and do things right.

When Emily confronts Ross with the idea, he loses it and gives her an ultimatum: now or never. Shocked that her fiance would even say such a thing, Emily walks out on Ross and calls the wedding off. Later, Ross rinds Emily perched upon the rubble of the church. He apologizes for his harsh words, and promises her that he’ll wait forever for her as long as they can be together. In the end, Ross and Emily decide to go through with the marriage at the church.

14. The One Where Ross Got High (Season 6, Episode 9)

Monica hosts Thanksgiving and Chandler uses the occasion to try and win her parents over. The episode involves a subplot where Rachel makes a trifle including a layer of beef.

Ross is forced to reveal the reason why Jack and Judy don’t like Chandler. Joey and Ross try to get out of Thanksgiving when they are invited to hang out with Janine and her dancer friends.

Monica and Ross take this opportunity to yell out secrets about each other they have wanted to say, including Ross being fired from the museum then marrying Rachel and getting divorced a third time but only after Ross reveals that Monica and Chandler are living together.

13. The One With the Blackout (Season 1, Episode 7)

A power outage blacks out most of New York City. Chandler, to his delight finds himself trapped inside an ATM vestibule with Victoria’s Secret model Jill Goodacre.

Once power is restored, she kisses him and leaves, which leads Chandler to talk to the bank security camera, requesting a copy of the security tape.

Ross tries to tell Rachel that he likes her. A wandering cat jumps on Ross’ shoulders before he can tell Rachel his feelings, and there is an amusing scene where he panics and flails about, trying to throw the cat off of him, causing the cat to dig its claws into his shoulder as it desperately holds on.
