Top 15 Edisodes Of FRIENDS That You Should Rewatch

10. The One Where No One’s Ready (Season 3, Episode 2)

Ross arrives at Monica’s apartment to discover Joey, Chandler and Rachel are not yet dressed for a function that evening. Joey sits on the chair Chandler was recently sitting in causing an argument between them, resulting in hummus staining Phoebe’s dress.

Meanwhile, Ross yells at Rachel causing her to say she will not go to the function. Ross is willing to go to extreme lengths to prove to Rachel that he is sorry.

Chandler hides Joey’s underwear, so Joey puts on all Chandler’s clothes. Meanwhile, Monica is thrown into doubt after her ex-boyfriend Richard leaves a message on the answering machine.

9. The One Where Ross Is Fine (Season 10, Episode 2)

Ross deals with finding out about Rachel and Joey’s relationship almost as well as when he found out about Monica and Chandler – that is, not well at all – but out of loyalty and embarrassment, maintains that he is ‘fine’. The only problem is that everyone can see through his ruse: the word ‘fine’ keeps coming out all high-pitched and squeaky.

In an attempt to prove that he is completely ‘fine’ with the new relationship, Ross invites Rachel and Joey to a dinner party with him and Charlie. Before dinner, however, Ross is obviously tense and anxious, almost on the verge of tears. When Joey suggests a drink to calm Ross’ nerves, the latter quickly goes overboard.

After a while of this drunken inappropriateness, Rachel and Charlie go home, while Joey decides to stay in order to keep an eye on Ross. In the morning, the two men talk, and Ross finally admits he is not fine but wants to be. He promises to try and get used to Joey and Rachel being together.

8. The One With Unagi (Season 6, Episode 17)

Phoebe and Rachel take self-defense classes that have them bragging about how they can kick anyone’s ass. Ross tells them that after years of studying karate he has learned that self-defense is useless without Unagi, a state of total awareness. Rachel and Phoebe tell him that Unagi is a sushi and that there’s no such thing, with Chandler later telling him the same thing. After Ross jump scares them, the two return the favor in his apartment.

This causes Ross to sneak into Phoebe’s apartment but he fails to hide successfully, as the girls notice him as they enter their home. They easily subdue him, which causes Ross to go to their instructor to ask how to fight them off, but he doesn’t explain himself clearly causing him to come across as a man who enjoys attacking women, especially his ex-wife.

7. The One Where Everyone Finds Out (Season 5, Episode 14)

The friends learn that Ugly Naked Guy is moving out and Ross tries to get his apartment. While Rachel, Ross and Phoebe are having a look around the apartment, Phoebe looks through the window into Monica’s Apartment, and sees Monica and Chandler having sex.

Astonished, she starts screaming and Rachel reappears and reveals that she already knows about Monica and Chandler’s relationship. She convinces Phoebe to calm down before Ross finds out, knowing that he would be furious.

6. The One With The Cop (Season 5, Episode 16)

When Phoebe finds a policeman’s badge at the coffee shop, she uses its power to enforce some laws of her own. Eventually the badge’s owner comes to retrieve it, catching Phoebe in the act of “policework”. The two hit it off and start dating.

Joey has a romantic dream about Monica and is consumed by guilt, believing that he has fallen in love with her.

Meanwhile, Ross buys a new couch but refuses to pay the delivery charge, insisting he and Rachel can carry it the three blocks to his new apartment themselves. Unfortunately, they can’t manage to get it up the stairs in his building, and Ross ends up returning the now sawed-in-half couch to the store.
