5. The One With Ross’ Sandwich (Season 5, Episode 09)

Ross is starting to unravel in light of his impending divorce and recent eviction, and the straw that breaks the camel’s back is when he takes his leftover Thanksgiving sandwich to work and someone eats it. As this was “the only good thing going on in my life”, he gets really mad about it.

Phoebe writes a threatening note for him that will scare people off. His coworkers start calling him ‘mental’ and Ross thinks that getting tough with people is a way to get what you want out of them.

This causes problems with his boss, who wants him to see a psychiatrist. Ross tries to explain to his boss, but then finds out he was the one who took the sandwich (and didn’t even finish it, throwing the leftover away) Ross screams at him so loud it can be heard outside, scaring a group of pigeons.

4. The One With The Embryos (Season 4, Episode 12)

Phoebe’s uterus is examined for implantation of the embryos. Meanwhile, a seemingly harmless game between Chandler and Joey against Monica and Rachel escalates into a full blown contest where the stakes are raised higher and higher.

A drunken Rachel calls Ross and reveals her feelings for him on his answering machine. Meanwhile, Monica keeps busy by being Chandler’s personal trainer and Phoebe constantly wonders why her current boyfriend won’t sleep with her.

2. The One with Chandler and Monica’s Wedding (season 7, Episodes 23-24)

So close to the wedding, Chandler suddenly realizes the overwhelming meaning of getting married. Ross goes to Joey’s apartment looking for Chandler who is staying the night since the groom cannot see the bride before the wedding, but finds an empty room and a note from Chandler.

Ross immediately goes across the hall to Monica’s apartment and shows Rachel and Phoebe the note Chandler left simply saying to tell Monica he is sorry. Understanding that Chandler has truly left and trying to figure out what to do, Ross goes out to search for Chandler while Rachel and Phoebe make sure Monica does not find out.

Ross and Phoebe find a confused Chandler in his office. He tells them he loves Monica so much, and he does not want to hurt her, but he is afraid that becoming “The Bings” will spell marital misery, maybe as bad as his parents. Ross convinces Chandler to go back to the apartment and begin getting ready, doing one thing at a time, not thinking about the goal. In Monica’s apartment, Rachel tries other less believable tactics to distract Monica and she realizes that something is going on. Rachel decides to tell Monica, but Phoebe opens the door and gives a thumbs-up sign to Rachel, controlling the situation.

Monica delivers her self-written vow, while Chandler delivers one from the heart – both speeches are very moving. When the ceremony is over, Chandler tells Monica that he knows about her being pregnant and how Phoebe found a pregnancy test in the trash, but she reveals she did not take a pregnancy test; to which he wonders who did. Phoebe exclaims to Rachel how Chandler and Monica are now married and having a baby, and the camera zooms in on Rachel as she manages out a weak “uh-huh” with a slightly panicked look on her face, thus revealing that that she is the one who is pregnant.

1. The Last One (Season 10)

We’re still completely unable to watch this episode without blubbing like babies, which is the sign of a great finale. Phoebe races Ross to the airport in a bid to stop Rachel from leaving for Paris. Monica and chandler pack up their apartment ahead of their move to their new house, and Joey buys Chandler a new chick and duck as a leaving present.
